The Site & Area

Llandysul is a small town and community in Ceredigion, made up of the villages of Capel Dewi, Horeb, Pont Sian, Pren-Gwyn, Tregroes, Rhydowen and Llandysul itself. It lies in the valley of the River Teifi and is visited for its fishing and canoeing.

The nearby town of Carmarthen has a modern shopping centre — including a Tesco superstore, Morrisons, LIDL, ALDI and Marks & Spencer — along with a leisure centre, bowling alley and a multi-screen cinema. Carmarthen is also the location of West Wales General Hospital (Glangwili), Dyfed-Powys Police headquarters and University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where S4C opened its high-tech headquarters in 2018.
