The development borders the village of Pendine, which is synonymous with land speed records on its seven-mile-long beach stretching back over 100 years. Pendine sands is where Sir Malcolm Campbell and J.G. Parry-Thomas tussled back and forth for the title of the fastest man in the world on four wheels — a contest that ultimately cost Parry-Thomas his life in March 1927. The village also offers plenty to do, from fishing and kitesurfing to kayaking and more.
Each plot is subject to a reserved matters planning application. The scale, layout, appearance and landscaping of each plot follow design principles set out by Sancler Property to achieve a co-ordinated approach across the site, with all proposals and materials approved before application.

The Site & Area
Dan y Bryn adjoins the village of Pendine, which has much to offer — a variety of pubs, restaurants and cafes serving breakfasts, traditional meals and Asian cuisine. Pendine sits on the northern shore of Carmarthen Bay, with a seven-mile flat beach perfect for bathing and world-renowned for land speed records dating back over 100 years.
The village has been undergoing a multi-million-pound regeneration scheme including a hostel, play area, volleyball court and the Museum of Speed, dedicated to the history of the village. The development is on the bus route to the town of Carmarthen, which has a modern shopping centre — including a Tesco superstore, Morrisons, LIDL, ALDI and Marks & Spencer — along with a leisure centre, bowling alley and multi-screen cinema.
Carmarthen is also the location of West Wales General Hospital (Glangwili), Dyfed-Powys Police headquarters and University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Llanmiloe sits on the All Wales Coast Path, which spans the entire 870-mile Welsh coastline, with soaring cliffs, golden sands and hundreds of circular walks within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park nearby.
